Selwyn Birchwood

With his fiery guitar and lap steel playing, his trailblazing, instantly memorable songs, and gritty, unvarnished vocals, Selwyn Birchwood is among the most extraordinary young stars in the blues.  He and his band take a major step forward, crafting visionary blues for a new generation of forward-looking fans.  After winning the International Blues Challenge in 2013, he has won numerous prestigious Blues Music Awards.

Kat Riggins and her Blues Revival

Inspired by a rich tapestry of musical genres, Kat Riggins' soul-stirring music pays homage to R&B, soul, gospel, and rock-n-roll. Yet, at her core, Kat is undeniably a BLUES WOMAN! She's on a global mission with her Blues Revival Movement, aiming to awaken the world to the depth and authenticity of blues music.  With her powerhouse voice, her live performances are not just keeping the blues alive, they are ensuring that it thrives!

Blues Attack

For over 25 years, Blues Attack has been an integral part of the Pittsburgh blues scene, playing at festivals and clubs around the western Pennsylvania area and beyond. Originally fronted by the amazing Jill West, who passed away in 2021, the band honors her legacy by continuing to play with passion and soul. Blues Attack is known for its guitar and harmonica-driven sound that mixes blues and rock with country elements, creating a genre-bending musical style all their own.  Blues Attack leaves audiences craving more; their passion for their craft shining through every note. Please join them for an afternoon of high-energy blues and rock.

Johnny Rawls

The term “soul blues” was invented to describe Johnny Rawl's music. With a career spanning more than 50 years, he has received multiple awards and nominations, including Soul Blues Album of the Year and Soul Blues Artist of the Year. Living Blues Magazine described him as a “soul-blues renaissance man”. Johnny is honored to be mentioned on two markers along the Mississippi Blues Trail.

Max Schang Band

Guitar virtuoso Max Schang is incredibly well-known and respected throughout the region for their high-energy, audience-engaging performances.  Max's musical journey has taken him through many transformations, including classical guitar, jazz, funk, gypsy-jazz, and many styles of American blues.  Max's performance will feature master of rock, blues, Delta swing and boogie-woogie piano great, Phil Baron.​

Colin John & Long Tall Deb

 “Long Tall Deb” Landolt cultivated her soul/gospel honey-dipped voice in church as a child. Transpacific Bluesman Colin John has electrified audiences worldwide with blues, rock, and American roots music, as well as Hawaiian slack-key guitar and lap steel.  Their one-of-a-kind sound incorporates a solid bedrock of blues and soul sensibilities cross-pollinated with their respective deep roots in Texas and Hawai’i and topped with world-roots influences gleaned from their travels throughout Europe, North America, Asia, and the Pacific.

Bobby Thompson & The Chosen Few

Packaging decades of diverse influences into a powerful and exciting performance, Bobby Thompson and The Chosen Few bring a high-energy show full of entertainment and expert musicianship that has wowed audiences since their debut in early 2024. They are currently supporting their first EP which is the first of a three-part musical journey that will document their musical evolution and ever-expanding sound. Each performance covers the sonic spectrum and ensures the audience is never disappointed.

Rodger Montgomery Blues Band

Rodger has been playing the Blues for over 35 years, forming The Rodger Montgomery Blues Band in 1992.  Spending a year in the trenches playing with Big Jack Johnson and the Oilers, Lonnie Shields, and John Brim, he released the critically acclaimed Album Rodger Montgomery Blues Band in 1993 which has been heard all over the world. 
In 2002, Rodger was asked to write the songs for the NAACP video production company.  Rodger is a two-time winner in the Blues category for the Rock Erie Music Awards.

Jason Born Trio​
Winning the 2025 BSWPA Blues Challenge, Jason is one of the region's most coveted artists.  In 2015, he served as the BSWPA Youth Representative, being featured on the stages of Memphis, where he will appear again next January for the International Blues Challenge.  Continue to look out for this band on the horizon as they are truly the future of blues.​​
